      • Yeah, Florida summer isn't Fitbit friendly! At least mine isn't....with the water time. I ran 1.5 miles yesterday, though, and went for a 3 mi beach walk this morning....and I'm going to a cardio dance/Zumba class this evening.

        • I am in the middle of the most painful 3 miles ever. After a few days of birthday dinners and drinks I need some salad and seltzer. Hopefully yoga later sets me straight.

          • Took yesterday and today off -- Oz ate a hole in one of my compression socks, so I am only using one. Grrrrr...

            • Finished the race series on a hot day. Really pleased I've been consistently in the 52 mins bracket. Need a new plan now.

              • Nice, D!

My training plan calls for cross-training today. Anything aerobic that's not running. Well, I'll be walking to school, then helping to take the entire first grade a little over a mile to the beach, roaming around poking at stuff on the beach and supervising activities on the (ancient and unsafe) town park play equipment, then walking back to school and home. Should be a minimum of 5 miles, 3-ish of them at the field trip, with kids who are for the most part not used to walking that far nor in this heat (it'll probably be in the 70s again, we're dying of hot up here.) My own sturdy uncomplaining kids were pushed to their limits by 2 miles of walking in these conditions yesterday, so I expect my patience and cajoling to really be tried today. Here goes nothin'!

                • The eight miles this weekend really wasn't bad. I'm confident I will be able to handle the 15k in a month.

Not looking forward to running when it is 80 at 5 am though.

                  • Body pump was fun!
I should add more weight for squats, and less weight for triceps.
My triceps are very very weak. 😅

                    • C is in camp this week. That means 5 days of stroller runs since I will only need the double.

It was pretty hot at 9 AM but I got 35 good minutes in.

Nice! Rest day for me today. Rest day for me, but I think I will do some yoga before bed.

                        • I am definitely not meeting my flexibility goals. I went from running into the car to go to the library basically without stopping. When we arrived, little man remembered that he hadn't eaten in an hour so I folded myself into the floor of the van to feed him (I was still sweating like a pig and didn't want to nurse in the library).

                          • Trading my run for a hike with DH today. Probably a good trade, because we need a little time together before the insanity of the next week or so. But I'm a little antsy to be doing so poorly on my weekly running mileage. Oh, well. Life trumps training plans, I guess. (After we do an hour or so of hiking this morning, I'll be walking to school and herding first graders again. Whee!)

                            • Yoga was good today -- I like that this teacher really focuses on breathing and does gentle flow.

Friday's teacher was NOT like that: she talked waaaaaaaaay too much. 😅

Tomorrow is Pilates or barre, I think.

                              • Spent 42 minutes pushing the jogging stroller today...some running and some walking. We went grocery shopping by stroller for the run so it was too heavy to run on the hills home (milk, apples, flour, etc were kind of heavy).

Also, little man freaked in the store so I had to BF in the middle of the store.

It's such an adventure trying to exercise with little kids and errands.
