  • Cranberry and Leek Pork Chop Crockpot Yummyness

    1tbsp Veg oil
    4 to 6 loin pork chips 1inch thickish
    2 leeks, white part only, cleaned and thinly sliced
    2 cloves garlic
    1tsp salt
    1/2 tsp crack pepper
    1/2 cup port wine, or orange juice
    1/4 orange marmalade
    1/2 dried cranberries

    In Skillet
    Brown chops, both sides, move to crockpot
    reduce heat and cook leeks till softened, add garlic, salt, pepper and cook 1 minute. Add port(orange juice) marmalade and cranberries and bring to a boil.

    pour over pork chops - low 5 hours high 2.5 hours

    Would this work with chicken breast or pork tenderloin?

      with pork tenerloin it would be great....I would probably just increase time a bit since it is thicker....but yummy still.
