    Avocado-Grapefruit Salads

    I make a salad with avocado and peeled grapefruit tossed in with butter lettuce. It's yummy. But these look even better ... who wants to eat lettuce at all, when they could be eating just avocado and grapefruit. I'm going to try this!

      the avocado / grapefruit combo doesn't appeal to me - but that picture sure makes me want a grapefruit!!

          and you're right- our grapefruits are about the only affordable ones in the country right now. Our Gucci grocery store has avocados separated by when they'll be ripe- ripe now, ripe in 1-2 days, ripe in 3-4 days.

          I'm going to get some when I get back from the various trips.
