  • Raspberry Tart recipe?!

Oh crap - dh forgot to tell me that I'm supposed to bring something to a BBQ tonight, and I only have a huge container of raspberries in my fridge.

Does anyone know how to make a tart out of these?

You could maybe use some sugar cookie dough and press that out like a pizza, bake, put down some sort of a cream cheese layer, top w/ the berries and dust w/ powdered sugar.

      Thanks!

I do live just a couple of blocks away from the grocery store, so it's not a problem to go buy something - I would have wanted to do something with the fruit, but I think it's beyond my skill level.

Do you have a big glass bowl? You could make a trifle sort of thing with cubed poundcake and whipped cream -- make layers with cake, berries, cream, repeat sort of deal?

That sounds yummy! I have a glass bowl (I'm not that hopeless, Nellie. ) I'll see what I can do. Great idea!

Ok, ok, sorry. I have a big glass bowl but it's not particularly pretty. I'd love one of these:

I ended up with a really bad pseudo-trifle.
