I wholeheartedly concur. Trader Joe's garlic hummus is *so so so* good. Mmmmm....

The Athenos stuff you can get in other grocery stores is also pretty good.

    Now you're making me hungry.

Speaking of TJs, was it their enchilada sauce that I got for you, Heidi? I neeeeed some too. There's no enchilada sauce to be found on this dinky island. Or Dijon mustard.

It was. I'm sorry I can't replenish you. Trader Joes is not in my neighborhood as you know. I'm sorry you can't find what you need! That really stinks!

I'm sure someone will come to your rescue.

I can get my hands on hundreds of different kinds of enchilada sauces so unless you're particularly craving TJs brand...

Let me know- I can ship ASAP- I ship a package to Rick every week so I'm at the PO anyway.

OMG, shhhhhh. I just spent nearly 50 bucks on chocolate covered sunflower seeds. BEST TREAT EVER. I love them, and they are my new vice, and TJ's addicted me.

If you go around spouting that you will be my Mexican specialty ordering service, being in San Antonio and all, that is not good for my bank account. I've already been bad.

What's the best premade enchilada sauce in your or anyone's opinion anyway? I'm willing to try them all you know.

                Heidi-

There are sooooo many- I just grab one that's in Spanish and off I go. Same thing w/ the mole sauces. Holy crap- my barrio grocery store has an entire section of different moles.

I'm just going to have to come visit you soon, and take an extra bag for the barrio grocery store.

I'll survive without. Gosh, I've become so used to the US grocery stores where you can find pretty much anything. I'm counting the days...

Is it possible to take a ferry to other islands? I'd think the French ones would at least have Dijon.

make sure you go to martinique.(there are ferries and they're reasonable) dh is fluent in french...thankfully cause i wasnt seeing a whole lot of love for english when we went. it was beautiful. dh thought it looked a lot like europe...considering they're 'owned' or ruled by france i guess that is not too shocking.

also...many people went to guadaloupe. we never made it there...oh...and if you want a real adventure, go to dominica. make sure you give em all the middle finger for me when you're there. (go to portsmouth..then you will see my hell)

It's very possible, but at $90 plus port fees for a round trip I am not rushing to reserve a seat on the ferry. I'm cheap so Dijon mustard or any other kind of food isn't worth that much to me, but maybe I'll get some when we take a trip during break.
