      My first reaction.

But in the spirit of fairness, I must decline the offer until everyone has an equal opportunity to potentially receive a taste of Heaven on Earth.

          Seriously-

Do you guys want to go for it? I could so use a pick me up- I have two LONG months ahead of me and obviously I can't drink a bottle of wine every night! (I mean, I could but I'm running on minimal brain cells as it is PLUS a couple cookies have fewer calories. It's practically a diet in comparison!)

(like how I just justified eating cookies every day?)

I'm in! Don't you all need cookies to put in the lunch boxes? Back to school/Labor Day cookies.

If my stove was in my kitchen, I would be all for it. I really could use some cookies too.

If anyone would like to see why, sadly , I cannot participate. Please take a look at the following:

                    http://picasaweb.google.com/MDChad/TileFloor

It was a peeling linoleum before this with several gouges in it. Alas, as you can see, my oven is not hooked up at the moment. It's hard to make cookies without an oven. Anyone have any recipes for microwave cookies?

I have but one simple request. Those who do make cookies, PLEASE add recipes to the cookie exhange recipes thread, and please those lucky enough to taste the morsels of goodness, let us know which ones are to die for. Maybe I could be in charge of organizing it and make Sylvia send some to me even though I won't be sending out any? Anyway, please post the recipe goodness for those of us who are eating takeout for a few weeks.

                      Heidi,

I think you organizing it qualifies you to receive samples of all cookies, no?

Awww, I can't participate anytime soon. I even had this yummy lemon squares recipe that I made for a bake sale here. :|

Ooooh, Heidi, you get a break from cooking AND a gorgeous kitchen.

I'm in, though I'll have to look for a recipe good enough - ooh, maybe my MIL's almond crescent recipe would be good, if I can find it anywhere...

So, how does this whole thing work?

Actually, despite being around here for two years, I have no idea how this works. I'm slow to get into things.

Everyone who is interested adds their name to the list and then the master list maker assigns people- this past year we each got three people and were supposed to send two dozen I think. or maybe it was one dozen to each person.

That part changes based on numbers of people participating.

There's a sticky about it in the call room.

Heidi - that's a really nice sized kitchen, and a great tile choice.
