Recipe storage?

  • Recipe storage?

I just pulled out my recipe book (a birthday gift from my mom when I first moved out of the dorms in 1999) and remembered that I really need to get that sucker organized. It's a three-ring binder in which I've jammed twice its width worth of loose printouts and clippings of recipes. I could copy the recipes out longhand onto pages to put in the binder, or I could just cut and paste, but I don't even think there's enough room in the binder for everything!

Any fabulous organizational methods to share?

I use page protectors and shove in articles torn from magazines / print outs from recipes online. I also just went through and pulled out a bunch of things I thought I'd make but never made ... freed up a bunch of space. I really love the sheet protector thing -- easy clean up when things splatter.

I do the sheet protector thing too. I need to clean mine up. I think there is more unfiled than filed. Oh, the shame.
