banana pudding recipe?

There is a cooking light one that I love. Though like most of their dessert recipes I think it is too sweet and scale back the sugar. I'll see if I can find it.

Yup, sure. It's a good one!

1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese
1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
1 (5 ounce) package instant vanilla pudding mix
3 cups cold milk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 (8 ounce) container frozen whipped topping, thawed
4 bananas, sliced
1/2 (12 ounce) package vanilla wafers

DIRECTIONS
In a large bowl, beat cream cheese until fluffy. Beat in condensed milk, pudding mix, cold milk and vanilla until smooth. Fold in the whipped topping.
Line the bottom of a 9x13 inch dish with vanilla wafers. Arrange sliced bananas evenly over wafers. Spread with pudding mixture. Chill.

While Heidi's sounds like the one my mom and dad used to make(yum yum yum) I will try the one Nellie posted, only because instant puddings often contain porcine derived gelatin... a no no for observant Muslims.

Whoo hoo...times have a changed...turns out Jello pudding is Kosher...and most all puddings no longer use gelatin...Heidi I will be making your recipe this week!!

Suz, I'm sorry! I forgot to ask my neighbor. I haven't seen her for a few weeks and then I forgot last night. But good to know that Jell-O is kosher and you can enjoy. You deserve some comfort food right now!
