and pizza in San Antonio, for the most part, sucks.

There are TWO places that I've found that are good and every single year they vote Dominos as the best pizza in town. That's how bad it is. (followed in some order by Papa John's and Pizza Hut)

I have to say that living in the Bronx (a Sicilian neighborhood with a Jewish university) opened my eyes to a whole new world of pizza. Now my favorite is NY style - thin crust, savory sauce, good cheese and sliced italian sausage. YUMMMMMM. Luckily, there is a place close to us here that has the same type of pizza.

*cough* Um, need to intervene for a moment, it's not provolone, it's provel - MUCH YUMMIER. It's made locally and you can get it in rope form. I could eat an entire contrainer of this stuff in one sitting. There is nothing quite like it.
