  • Brussel sprouts

There was a recipe on here for carmelized brussel sprouts that I was hoping to make tonight and cant find it anywhere. This is different from Suz's recipe ( which is equally delicious!). Anyone remember it?

I am really excited they are back in season!

I don't remember, but thanks for the reminder. Suz's recipe is the only way I will eat brussel sprouts, and I love them when they are cooked this way.

Suz's recipe is in my oven currently but I have enough fresh ones leftover for tomorrow....

Ditto to preparing brussel sprouts the way Suz does. Crispy goodness. Enjoy!!!

Was there a thread on the caramelized ones? I don't remember it. Do you recall who posted it?

I like mine soft and mushy. I used to caramelize them in butter but had to switch to olive oil. Couldn't be simpler, just quarter throw in a heavy pan with a lid and stir occasionally. I also like to add some minced or pressed garlic in the end.

We do the same exact thing. I absolutely love them that way!

I saute chopped brussel sprouts in olive oil, a little garlic, salt and pancetta. It's the only way I will eat brussel sprouts. So good.

Omnomnomnom. No one around here has Brussels sprouts in yet, hopefully someone is growing them though because you're making me hungry! I could eat the whole pan full of these, in fact I have before. Not sure if it's the "caramelized" you're looking for?
