    1) turning in to a bit of a problem for me- the Tabasco Mayonnaise. It's AWESOME. But, so awesome that I'm constantly thinking of things to schmear it on. Egg sandwich? OK! Egg salad? OK! Sandwich? OK! But it's the perfect amount of heat to mayo. They knew their market.

    2) Choxie chocolates from Target. Just tried a bar on Friday (we.. 1/4 of a of a tiny bar) and it's not bad for the price. I got the coconut truffle bar.

Ben and Jerry's makes Frozen Yogurt - I am totally addicted to the Cherry Garcia and Half-Baked (mmm...cookie dough). Not the healthiest, but healthier than the ice cream and tastes delicious!

English mustard. Since Nigella introduced us to it we cannot live without. It's mustard meets wasabi. We go through a small jar a month!

Colman's mustard. Old english mustard. If you can find it in Albany you can find it anywhere. It will make your eyes water, but it's so good on sandwiches and pork.

I'm going to check out the tabasco mayo too. I eat at least 2 fried egg sandwiches a week. Sounds perfect.

I love Thai food too. The only Thai place in our town is bit pricey, and I am used to cheap yummy Thai in Seattle.

Lately if I have been craving it, I whip myself up a bowl of noodles with peanut sauce, it's pretty easy.

My favorite food find: home delivery milk. I grew up with home delivery milk, but it's been over 10 years since I have had it, so it's new again to me. I am trying to talk my farm raised cheapskate dh that we NEED home delivery milk. The company's slogan: 36 hrs from Moo to You! The milk is seriously heavenly tasting.

Dh found flavored San Pellegrino at good 'ol Costco- orange and lemon. We bought it as a treat, and it is delish!

Isn't it amazing how much better fresh milk tastes? We have a local company that is sold in a lot of grocery stores - glass bottles and all. It's not a 36 hour turnaround, but it's close. Skim tastes like whole when it's organic, fresh, and in a glass bottle. Whole tastes like a milkshake. Even the boys can tell the difference. Quinn will say "Mom! Did you buy the REAL milk?"

I'm also a fan if buying milk locally. There's an Oklahoma dairy (also in parts of bordering states) called Braums that has fast food/grocery/ice cream stores all over around here. I never buy milk from the grocery store - it's worth the extra stop! I also usually buy my eggs and butter from there, too. It really does taste better.

As far as favorite finds, I guess I'd have to go with vegetarian sushi rolls. I was really missing sushi, and I noticed my grocery store made some with just celery, carrots, and avacado. It doesn't compare to having real, fresh fish, but it'll do.

I want to go pick up some of their pumpkin ice-cream soon! I also love their fresh-squeezed limeades. It's the closest "grocery" store to my apartment, so I head there a few times a month. I've found their veggies are actually pretty good--they never change the prices, so some (like Roma Tomatoes) are awesome deals!

All this Braum's talk, and knowing how far away it is from me, makes me die inside.
Oh well, there's always next year for goodies and treats!
As a kid, I enjoyed the peppermint ice cream in a junior cone (so good!)

My mom also gets fresh goal milk and eggs from a church friend who lives nearby. Those eggs are sooo much better--you can tell by looking at the yolks! And my brother calls the goat's milk "a meal in a glass"

My neighbor distributes food from Ohio's Amish community to local stores. He keeps promising to start a fresh egg pick up point in his garage. I can't wait for that. Fresh eggs make baked goods so much better.

SInce I've been altering my diet so much to accomodate my sore tummy, I've discovered steel cut oatmeal. Oh my. A bowl of that with turbinado sugar, walnuts and dried cherries is my new comfort food for a cold day.

The dried cherries are an old addiction. Can't ever be without those.
