Does anyone have any good slow cooker/crockpot recipes?

I have a few good ones but I want some with some basic ingredients because some of mine from cookbooks are more involved. I need something for the days when you need to throw it all in the pot and go! (think simple cuts of meat and veggies)

Um...I throw just about anything in a crockpot. :embarrassed: I always have cans of regular cokes, beer, wine, onion soup mix, orange marmalade, some sort of teriyaki sauce, german mustard, garlic, or Italian dressing to toss in with some sort of meat. The crock pot ROCKS and makes me look like I cook more than I do.

We had this one last night, made with chicken thighs and a side of broccoli.

      Lazy Italian Chicken

      3 boneless skinless chicken breasts
1 cup Italian salad dressing (I use fat-free, the regular stuff is too oily for me)
2 teaspoon Italian seasoning (or oregano, basil, etc. mix)
      1 cup grated parmesan cheese
5 to 6 potatoes; cut into wedges (no need to peel)
      4 garlic cloves

Spray crockpot with Pam. Place chicken in bottom of crock pot. Sprinkle with half Italian dressing, spices, and the grated cheese. Place potatoes amd garlic cloves over chicken. Sprinkle with remaining ingredients. Cook on high for 4-6 hours or on low for 8-10 hours.

This one is also really yummy. I usually take it when people have babies (b/c everyone gets sick of lasagna / italian casseroles) and have been asked for the recipe each time.

This one makes the best French Dip sandwich. The key is to use a roast w/very little fat in it, so it will still slice rather than fall apart after cooking all day. I put them on whole wheat hoagie rolls, top with swiss or provolone and then melt under the brolier. Really good.

Luanne's right and the search doesn't always work anyway.
