  • Pollyanna's salad?

I'm looking for Pollyanna's tomato salad that she posted a long time ago in a thread! I've got some nice tomatoes that I'd like to use. Could someone please direct me to the thread or the recipe itself? Thanks!

Hi Alison, I was just about to reply to your pm but figured I might as well put the recipe here.

    Sliced tomatoes
    olive oil
    balsamic vinegar
    fresh basil
    fresh oregano
    flat leaf parsley
    salt

All these items are to taste. I use quite a bit of salt, it really brings out the flavor of the tomato. This tastes best after sitting in the refrigerator for several hours.

    ENJOY!!

Thanks! I just realized that if you're like me, you don't see those little notifications that you've got a PM, and I also didn't want to bother you too much with re-typing the recipe out.
I'm excited. Today is the first day we'll be in the 70s again, and I'm going to make this! Yay! Thanks so much, Tara!

Also, have you ever done the tomatoes in wedges? Or are slices better for spreading the spices around?

Yum yum. I've got it in the fridge right now. I got it in there by 3:30, and dinner will be around 7. Can't wait!!!

Yummy, Tara! I'm going to turn what's left of it into a panzanella for tonight!
