  • Gluten free dessert

hi all. My sil is in town tomorrow night and she is gluten sensitive. I want to make a dessert (preferably non dairy) and I'd rather not have to buy the gluten free flour substitute that I will never use again. Do you have any ideas/recipes or should I just go over to whole foods and fine one that is already prepared?

    Thanks!
    -L.Jane

I've been seeing lots of dessert recipes using corn meal, I haven't tried any, but I think corn meal is gluten free. I can find a few I've been eyeballing if you need ideas.

You can buy gluten free pie crusts, I'm not sure were but then you can make your regular filling. My MIL is gluten free and gets most of her stuff at place like Whole Foods.

You can buy gluten-free dessert mixes. I've seen them at Super Target.
