    Apple Braid

    I will be making this tonight, and eating the entire thing by myself. Have to test one out right?

    I think I have made this before but I can't remember!

          My only issues with this recipe is that it uses bread flour & instant yeast. Two things I don't have. I figure I could use regular yeast & flour & just let it rise for an hour +. Regardless I'm totally tempted to try it! I love baked Apple food stuffs.

            I happen to have a gigantic bag of bread flour left over from The Clone of the Cinnabon recipe, which is also defreakinlicious. I'll let you know how it turns out and if it's worth the bread flour and yeast. I have a feeling it will be.

              yep, it is delicious, and beautiful. Next time I'll probably add a little bit more sugar the bread. Other than that. perfecto.

                  Today I warmed a piece up with a little butter and it was even more fabulous than it was last night. Of course, what isn't better with butter?

                      Butter can only improve things.

                      speaking of brownies...Trader Joe's Truffle Brownie mix makes some of the best brownies I have ever eaten. And usually I am not a big fan of baking mixes.

                        I was inspired & made the Apple braid. I made some changes - used part whole wheat flour, brown sugar, reg yeast (so I let it rise for a long time). It turned out rather large and is cooling right now. I hope its yummy when I try it later!

                            Trader Joe's Truffle Brownie mix makes some of the best brownies I have ever eaten. And usually I am not a big fan of baking mixes.
