  • Hot Apple Toddy

This was delicious. So warm and cozy and fall like. It warmed me up so much though, I think next time I'll have to have it outside!
I've sometimes have a regular hot toddy for a cold, but this would be 1000 times better.

I simmered some apple cider on the stove with cinnamon, cloves, and a tiny bit of ginger for about 5 minutes to make it extra delicious.

    While it's simmering,

    1 tsp honey
1 oz (or so) of whiskey
and probably 3/4 of a mug of the hot apple cider.

    de freaking licious.
and even my husband liked it.
sweet enough for me, and whiskeyey enough for him.
I will definitely be serving these at all of our fall parties!

Made something similar recently (without the whiskey) with this:
