We hosted DH's clinic party at our house and one of the nurse's husband brought a Flinstones worth of ribs he smoked. They were great but we already had the meal provided so not much got eaten. They would not take the leftovers home and now I am stuck with a buttload of ribs. What can I do with it? Thought about pulling the meat off the bone (to make tacos, soup, stir fry) but that seems like a tedious process. Is there an easier way? Would it be better if I warm them up again - Im afraid to do so for fear of the meat drying out more. Is it like chicken that I can put in a pot with water??? You - see - I AM clueless! Googled ideas and most people say they never have leftovers.

We just reheat them in the microwave, but I haven't really come up with a great way to use them in other recipes. Sandwiches are probably the best option. I started a similar thread several months ago, and there was a suggestion for stew, but I didn't get around to trying that. Sounds good, though.Laurie

I can think of all kinds of things to do with the meat just don't know the easiest way to get said meat off the bone. Look at Giada's recipe.http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/g...ipe/index.html Mine are already cooked but looks like if I put them in a large stockpot with beef broth, I may be able to get the meat of easily. What do you think? I could then make a taco soup of sorts since I will already have the beef broth base??Finally - we are finished with training! Hello real world!!
