  • Menu Help

I'm bad at menu planning. We have some friends coming over for dinner and her diet is somewhat restricted. But these things are ok, what else do I need? They're bringing dessert.

Main dish: Grilled Garlic Lemon chicken, http://amandascookin.com/2010/04/gri...n-breasts.html

Side: Black bean, quinoa & citrus salad, http://iowagirleats.com/recipes/?recipe_id=6005715

Another side: Fruity spinach salad, http://allrecipes.com/recipe/fruity-...ad/detail.aspx

Or should I just serve one side and something simple like grilled asparagus? Should I also serve a bread even though she is gluten free? I know she won't mind. Should I serve something else too or is that enough??
Wife to NSG out of training, mom to 2, 10 & 8, and a beagle with wings.

I think the quinoa salad takes the place of bread, and that your menu is set. If you don't want to do the spinach salad, you could do just asparagus instead, but I think it's really just a matter of what you want to do. It looks yummy!

Asparagus with kiwi and lemon or line is fabulous for summertime.
