  • Pinterest for the win...

So most things I pin on pinterest I never actually make and I know there is a whole blog on pinterest fails, but I thought I would share a couple that were actually a success and have become repeats in my meal rotation. Let me know what gems you have found on pinterest

Last night for the second time I made the baked Chicken fajitas. So easy to make and in the 25 minutes its cooking I whipped together guacamole and heated up a can of Trader Joes Refried black beans to add to my fajita. J added the guac and some salsa to his. Left overs today for lunch were just as delicious.

Another recipe I have made twice now and is in my rotation is the Spicy Cashew Chicken. J also gave it thumbs up and enjoyed eating the leftovers cold out of the tupperware. I prefer my food reheated. For those who don't like spicy, just leave out the red pepper.

I heart this bread recipe: http://simplysogood.blogspot.in/2010...sty-bread.html

It took a bit to work out exactly how much flour to use, but the bread is scrumptious and doesn't last more than 24 hours, even with our small household.

Agh, yes, I love that bread...and originally heard about it from an iMSNer last year when I got my dutch oven (though I can't remember who...)

Haven't made it ages though...may have to make a loaf...

Oh my goodness the Tasty Kitchen Chicken and Dumplings. Tastes just like Cracker Barrel's, wasn't totally laden in fat, and only took me 30 min

Saturday I searched Pinterest for a plain pancake recipe from scratch. It took some time because most of the recipes are not your typical pancake but I finally found one that was simple enough. Dh liked them so much he ate all the pancakes and I didn't get any. Usually I'd just search the web for this kind of recipe but when I did that last time dh and I both agreed that something wasn't right with the recipe and tossed those pancakes. This time I thought why not search Pinterest instead and it was a success.

I used a rotisserie chicken but I think chicken breasts would be great and healthier too
