  • Oven Roasted Turkey Breast

Does anyone have a good recipe and/or success stories with oven roasting a turkey breast (either boneless or bone-in) that they then used for sandwiches? I HATE deli meat but looooove smoked/roasted turkey sandwiches, so I only get them when a) my dad smokes a turkey breast for us or b) I'm in a place that house-smokes/roasts their turkey.

I've never attempted it but it seems pretty straight forward. Just wondering if anyone has any suggestions for recipes, methods, successful attempts they've made that result in delicious turkey for sandwiches.

I'd love to smoke one but I don't want to have to tackle that myself and I'd otherwise have to wait until DH has a free weekend day to do it. Also we don't have a smoker - just a charcoal grill so it's even more work.

You could try adding liquid smoke to a marinade. DH does that when he makes beef jerky.

That's a good point - I could try a bit. I tend to not like the fake smoke flavor/smell, but a little bit could add what we'll miss by not actually smoking it. Good thinking!
