  • Favorite Super Bowl recipe?

I just saw a buffalo chicken dip on the today show I'm going to try. Everyone on the show liked the pizza dip the best. I have a great artichoke bread I'll post later if I can still find the recipe.

We're going skiing during the day to check out all the new snow. It's pure powder snow I'm thinking we'll do a "dip dinner" with a spread of munchies. Hit me with your favorites

I have a winner buffalo dip recipe, let me know if you want it.

I also love brown sugar smokies. They are always a hit and gone super fast.

We more or less use this buffalo chicken dip recipe, except I bake chicken breasts or tenderloins and chop it up instead of using canned chicken, and you can use any kind of buffalo sauce in it: http://allrecipes.com/recipe/buffalo-chicken-dip/

I like Texas Caviar a lot too: http://allrecipes.com/recipe/texas-caviar-i/

These sweet chicken bacon wraps are also good: http://www.foodnetwork.com/recipes/p...ps-recipe.html

          Favorite Super Bowl recipe?

For cold dips, I have a great crab dip recipe made with artificial crab, a Mexican shrimp salad recipe, and bruschetta is always good, as is hummus!

For hot dips Buffalo chicken dip is always very tasty! I also do a dip that has a layer of Cream cheese at the bottom, a layer of Hornel chili, topped with cheddar cheese. I also like to do a baked goat cheese dip which is basically just go cheese and your favorite marinara sauce.another tasty thing is to do hot Brie-I like to top mine with cranberry chutney or hatch pepper jelly.

My plan is to make these cookies: http://www.bostonmagazine.com/news/b...lated-cookies/

I have also made these dips. I think most people preferred the snickerdoodle one, but I can't remember for certain: http://www.howsweeteats.com/2010/12/...3-new-flavors/

Another super easy option is the block of cream cheese topped with pepper jelly, served with wheat thins.
You can go a little bit more complex with this version:
              Mardi Gras Cheese Dip

              2 cups chopped pecans
3 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese (1 lb. bag)
              1 8 oz. Philadelphia Cream Cheese--soft style
              1 cup chopped green onion
              Mayonnaise to soften
1 jar Tabasco Pepper Jelly (red)

Put pecans, cheddar cheese, green onions and cream cheese together in a bowl.
Stir until well mixed. Add mayonnaise to soften.....about 2 heaping TBSP. Mix well.

Put the mixture in a bowl (for the shape) lined with plastic wrap and cover the top. Refrigerate overnight. When you take the bowl out
of the fridge, turn it over into a serving dish and peel off the plastic wrap. Coat the top with pepper jelly. Serve with crackers.
(Or you can just put everything in a casserole dish and then top with the pepper jelly)

This is another good hot one - I think you can also just do cream cheese, sausage, and rotel: http://www.myrecipes.com/recipe/jimm...ta-sausage-dip

              Clearly I like cream cheese...
