• Simple appetizer

I need help finding a simple cold/room temp appetizer that doesn't contain meat. Since we are moving in 10 days all my cook books are packed and I'm short on ideas. Also I only have basic cook wear to use. It doesn't need to make a ton - there will just be four adults and four kids. It doesn't have to be kid friendly. Thanks!!

Pioneer Woman's pico de gallo? I could eat my weight in that stuff... And make extra so you can bring guacamole!

Put a block of cream cheese on a plate, then cover it with pepper jelly or raspberry chipotle sauce, then serve with Wheat Thins.

Or Texas Caviar, or buffalo chicken dip.

Cheese and crackers is always welcome, as is crudite. Seven layer dip?

My mom does this but tops with salsa and serves with tortilla chips. So good!

Great ideas! I love pico though all the chopping isn't so appealing.

I think it was WolfpackWife who said she buys fresh chips and house made salsa from her neighborhood Mexican joint for appetizers, too!

Oh that's brilliant! Go to Ted's and get chips, queso, and salsa. I miss Ted's...

I've actually never eaten at Eds! Guess I should go there before we leave?
