  • how to avoid freezer burn?

I've tried it all--tupperware, saran wrap, freezer bags, etc. And I still get freezer burn on my frozen food, in particular frozen chicken. Anyone have any tips or suggestions? Am I just not eating my frozen goods fast enough? Or is my freezer too cold/not cold enough? Everything in my freezer develops those little ice crystals. It's driving me nuts!

Thanks nattysmor, I found it very helpful and will have to try out the suggested techniques in my next freezing adventure.
