What is your fav. pizza chain?

I really like pizza from Chucky Cheese, but I hate Chucky Cheese!

Other than the pizza we had sitting in the sun in Florence at Michelangelo's Plaza, overlooking olive groves and the Arno....

There are two pizza places in DC that are worth driving to get there (and anyone who knows DC traffic will immediately understand the sacrifice that requires) One is called 2 Amys and the other is Pizzeria Paradiso. Yum, yum, yum. 2 Amys has one that has smoke eggplant that is amazing and at PP we get the basic Margherita. If we order in we get it from a tiny place on Capitol Hill called Al's. It's pretty good, too.

I dislike all of the big chains, but in particular I hate Pizza Hut- 100% grease.

We like Papa John's and lately we are going to California Pizza Kitchen more often. I agree that Chuck E. Cheese pizza isn't half bad, but having to endure a few hours of sensory overload is usually not worth it. Sometimes I get an urge for a taco pizza like you wouldn't believe, but that's hard to come by around here (don't ask me why!) so I end up making it myself.

I like Papa John's...not for their pizza, but mostly for their doughy breadsticks and garlic dipping sauce. Yum! My favorite chain is Round Table. We had a few of them in Southern California, but none that I can find here in the southeast, so I really miss their pizza!

Mmmmmm, I forgot about those two places! DH and I were just talking about our favorite restaurants in DC, and we agreed that Listriani's and Faccia Luna (sp?) both made mean pizzas. We've been to 2 Amys and Pizzeria Paradiso too, and I agree - great pizzas!

Around here our favorites are two local pizzas places, Pizza House (old college hangout, but still the best!) and Cottage Inn Pizza. If I'm too lazy to cook dinner I'll stop and pick up a large pepperoni pizza from Little Caesar's for $5. It's not great pizza, but for $5 it'll do.
