In context with Crystal's easy meals question- what are the kinds of things that you ALWAYS have on hand- maybe some of us can get some ideas of things that we should keep on hand, too.

    For me:

boil-in-a-bag rice. (Yes, the other kind tastes better. but even with a rice steamer it's not conducive to the quickie meal!)

cheddar cheese- Vermont Cheddar- white sharp

Nutrigrain Eggos- we're all fans of the eggo in this house

    eggs

    Tomato paste and tomato sauce

    Frozen shrimp

    Frozen veggies

Tunafish (canned or in the bag, whatever's on sale)

Bagged salads - again, yes, I know that pound for pound they're a total rip-off but there are nights that a "Lite Caesar" is just easier!

    Annie's organic mac and cheese

    Sugar-free jello

    Jenn

PS- the one thing I NEVER seem to have on hand? Onions.
