  • Let's do a Lean Cuisine Commercial

I had a chicken pot pie made with chicken I'd cooked, sliced and froze a month ago, frozen veggies and a ready made pie crust for dinner last night.

What did you have for dinner?

Note: Nothing lean about my dinner, just thinking along the lines of the commercial.

I had eggos with plain yogurt...and a strawberry yogurt, and light chips w/ salsa, and half a scrambled egg that the kid refused to eat...

    ALL light- but not together!

and after the amount of cheap red wine I had at the wedding reception on Saturday- can't even stomach the thought of a beer...

Half of a hot dog (left by children), glass of wine and hummus on crackers. (DH was away for boards!)

          Kelly, you are too funny!

I had a bowl of beef chili (No beans - blegh! Hate them!) with grated long-horn style cheddar cheese, crushed Saltines, and Fritos. I made the chili rather hot so I had a glass of Skim milk to keep my tongue from catching fire.

Tonight I'm having a gourmet meal of two bowls of cereal, probably topped off with a big slice of cake leftover from my baby shower this weekend. (DH has a department function tonight and I'm so not into the effort of cooking just for myself.)

We had our Wednesday-night special: Subway (while watching Lost). 12-inch club sandwich on wheat with no cheese and all the veggies + mustard. And a Stonyfield Farm apricot yogurt.

I had 2 manwiches, a cup of mac n cheese and about 3/4 of a lb of carrot sticks instead of dessert.

I had a coffee creampuff for an appitizer. :]
Not sure what is for dinner. DH has a frou-frou dinner so I'm roaming the cupboards and contemplating shoeing the children to run out and get a slice of pizza.

I had grilled teriyaki flank steak, with sauted peppers and brown rice. I actually cooked three times this week! I am so proud of myself.

Tonight- we had an early dinner- it was a party at our church- BBQ: hamburger, some green salad, cream cheese brownie and a smores.

I was still hungry when we got home so snuck some Halloween candy- Reese's Peanut Butter Cups to be exact.
