Those look like a great hostess gift! But unfortunately, I would definitely end up eating them if I tried to keep them on hand. No one would ever get to receive them.

That is a good idea. Let me know if you think of a non-food item or something not so yummy. Someday when I am more organized, I will have a stash of hostess gifts. And buy birthday gifts for people the moment I see something they would like instead of thinking I will remember. Same for kid birthday gifts. Pick one gift for boys and one for girls and just give that instead of shopping each time!
