    dh's birthday is coming up. he has requested a bostom cream pie. i have never made one. does anyone have a recipe that is proven?

        Sorry, Sylvia. Haven't forgotten about this. I did find the one I was thinking of -- it looks good if a little involved. I've looked for others but haven't found anything else that measures up.

        I'll try to scan it tonight. And it has pastry cream? I love pastry cream! I must make this some time.
