Up next is Harriet the Spy that my 8 year old picked.
I'm reading Hug Your Haters - it was recommended by the 'business coach' that I use. I just finished The Lake House by Kate Morton and I'm on the hunt for my next book to dive in to.

Started When breath becomes air. I'm impressed by how well written it is. DH read it on vacation last month. It really resonated with him, having just finished residency and just had our first child. It actually brought tears to his eyes!

I'm ready to get back into reading (I have two Literature degrees, for crying out loud!) when the school year starts.
At the end of the day, I'm too wiped -- that sounds like a cop-out, but to be honest I read quite quickly and don't like to be bothered or interrupted whatsoever when doing so, so kids, you know?
It was not unusual for me as a child/teen to max out my checked-out allotment at the library and spend 3-6 hour stretches devouring fiction novels.
I would love to be able to do that again (not in those long stretches, but perhaps 2 hours a day?)Wife to Family Medicine attending, Mom to DS1 and DS2
