Did anyone else do the Goodreads reading challenge this year?

I did last year for the first time and it was so satisfying. I think I started maybe mid-April, pledged 50 books, and ended up reading 54 (I think).

This year, I pledged 80 books and have read 73 so far.

How far along are you? Do you wish your goal was higher or lower?

What have been your favorite and least favorite reads this year? Any books that surprised you?

There is a newbery book club that runs thought February at our school. . DD is on her second book.

The goodreads reading challenge is just a challenge through the year for how many books you read. It's no big deal, but it's fun to see your goodreads friends rack up books - and I get a jolt of satisfaction every time I finish a book and my little tracker advances a percentage point! I am a huge fan of goodreads.
