Well I needed a good long break from Tom Robbins - I hadn't even realized he'd come out with a new book 5 years ago!
This is a good read, though kind of long-winded in pseudo-theology, which you don't really want to get from Robbins...but it's a really fun story, and less....I guess "bombastic" is the word....than some of his other stuff.
If you enjoyed Jitterbug Perfume, Skinny Legs and All, etc., try this one.
