    FANTASTIC. It's non-fiction - and is the author's memoir of her REALLY messed-up / unorthodox childhood. Appaling, sad, interesting, & inspiring all at once.

    I've read a few little bits and it sounds interesting.

      Wow, this was a truly amazing book. At times I didn't know whether I should laugh or cry. I couldn't get over the lighthearted attitude the author had to the (IMO) dire circumstances of her childhood; she wrote about her parents in such a warm and generous manner. A very good read, thanks for recommending it!!
