  • David Rakoff

I'm falling in love w/a neurotic gay man in NYC. I read Don't Get too Comfortable about a month ago, and am now reading a little bit of Fraud every night before I go to bed.

Very dry wit. He writes general observation-type pieces. Similar to David Sedaris, but more coherent and less whiney - so those that don't enjoy Sedaris might like Rakoff more.

I've got this vision of David Rakoff, David Sedaris and Sarah Vowell sitting around in a room chatting .... it seems like such FUN!

I just finished Fraud and since I read Don't Get Too Comfortable a few months ago, I'm eagerly awaiting another book from him.

If you start stalking him and he doesn't call the police, let me know and I'll come and join you.

I can live w/o David Sedaris, but David Rakoff, Sarah Vowell and I are going to have one heck of a good time hanging out.

      I'm almost done w/Sarah's (we're on a 1st name basis) Pass the Cannoli . I just don't know what I'll do when I'm done.
