  • The Memory Keeper's Daughter

This book was excellent and an easy read. I like to read quick books when I'm traveling and I read this flying to and from St. Louis last weekend.

Its an excellent story of a secret that pulls a family apart and the child that the mom never knew she had. The family are in the medical field, he is a surgeon (ortho, I think). I recommend it.

i think most of us had similar "well ... that's not what I wanted / expected / hoped for" kind of vibe.

Jenn, how did you find that thread? I did a search and scanned the Book Review section and couldn't find it.

I liked it but yes, but I agree it wasn't what I had hoped for or expected.

I remembered that it was there b/c I'd posted on it before, so I just scanned down the page. It was actually on the 1st page.

But I ALWAYS miss that stuff. Probably 1/2 of the book & movie reviews I've posted are duplicates to someone else.

Very eh in my opinion. I thought it was going to be so awesome, but i thought it dragged on forever.
