I have my fingers crossed that my mom will have it shipped to me like the last one.
Ooh, I should go see if my library has the audiobooks -- I've listened to I think 3 books and the effect is SO different from reading (or watching) the story! I get a lot more details out of it too as far as trying to predict what's going to happen in the end.

I just listened to my first audiobook and was blown away by the narrator (Rose somebody). She enriched the story tremendously. I just found out that our library has downloadable books.
The narrator of the Harry Potter audiobooks is AMAZING! We love listening as a family.

Is that the american version? I've heard good things about them, but I'm holding out for eventually getting the british audiobooks. Stephen Fry is *awesome*.

Harry Potter audio books are Jim Dale -- aren't they? He is amazing. I'm not sure if there are different versions. We have all the Jim Dale audiobooks/MP3 files now. DS listens to them to go to sleep. Random sections. It is quite strange, but the kid knows his HP.

"Where are we going - and what am I doing in this handbasket?"
Yes, Jim Dale. Fabulous. It is amazing to hear the voices he does and instantly know, that's Hagrid speaking, or Dumbledore. Really, I love it. I don't even know if I will read the 7th book or just listen to it. It makes it last so much longer, and the details just come to life.

I can't wait. I've already reserved a copy too. I'm really sad it will be the last one though. I wonder who dies! Rowling said she was crying after she wrote the death of one of the main characters.
