This is the memoir of a American working in Darfur monitoring the ceasefire agreement the government signed with the opposition. He documented terrible atrocities daily, and saw that no one was doing anything about them. Eventually he quit and now lectures about Darfur. This book was very well written but left me with a helpless feeling.
