This was a memoir of a survivor of the Jonestown massacre in 1978 where 900 people drank grape kool aid flavored with cyanide. This woman actually defected several months before after fearing for her life and the lives of her family. It gives an interesting inside look at what a cult is like.

I couldnt put this book down, it was a real page turner.
