My Life by Bill Clinton

.....PHEW.

I read this with my political biases in the drawer.

I truly enjoyed reading about the early years in Clinton's life.
He's specific but it reads like a story...not a text book.

When he becomes president, it reads more like a text book -- lots of dates, names and quotes.

I started skimming a bit after page 650. I wanted to finish the book before the summer was over!!!


I liked Clinton's thoughts and feelings about other well known politicians and famous people. He's generous with praise towards others.

The books does seem very self serving at times.

I'm now reading "My American Journey" (Colin Powell) and it's a whole different flavor! More on that later...

I too liked this book and we all know I'm a republican. I thought it was well written and informative about his upbringing which I feel says a lot about who a person is.
