I know! Odd choice for me! I'm still only about 1/3rd of the way through, but I'm curious if anyone else has read it. Even more specifically, I find myself saying "I wonder if that is how Suz feels" every time the Muslim woman tells her views.

Re: The Faith Club
I haven't read the book...I have read about it, and have seen her on
C-span Book reviews, as well as the round of talk shows she appeared on leading up to the release of the book...she seems more like me before I became Muslim
She's an indigenous Muslim,where as I (obviously)am a revert
I tend to be more like-minded w/ the guy who's blog link, is listed in my profile.

Re: The Faith Club
She does seem more liberal than what I know of you. For example, she drinks wine, and she doesn't wear a scarf. I was speaking more to the way she interprets the Quran, which would be hard for you to answer since you haven't read it (The Faith Club, not the Quran). Gee ... could you find the time to read it for me to satisfy my curiosity?????????/ (Please know that I am kidding ....)
