Eh. That is about all I can say for this book. I wanted to like it more, I kind of liked the characters but it was just off.
It is one of those books that has a main character with a name like Natalie Quackenbush. She is a teacher in Arizona, living with her parents for convenience and because of debt. She goes to happy hours with her teacher friend and they make up stories about themselves to see what they can pull over on the male patrons. Sure enough, she does this to someone she really ends up liking and waits too long to tell him the truth. I won't spoil the ending but you can probably guess.
To recover, yesterday I picked up Lamb by Christopher Moore.
