    I stumbled across this tonight at the book store. I ended up buying it, and then having dinner at one of the places I found in it (it was a babysitter night). It's NOT something people can ask to be in -- I told the restaurant owner that I'd found them in it, and he didn't even know about it!

    DH and I are going to use it as our date nights become a regular thing. If your city has one, a city you're traveling to has one, or a city you're considering has one -- buy it.

      I think it depends on the city. I scanned the NY list and some places are in the boroughs and some are notorious for inability to get a reservation. The rest are pretty much known to all the locals and can also be found recommended by New York Mag, www.nymag.com, for free.
