So Prep was enjoyable, Man of My Dreams pretty much sucked on many levels. Now there's a new LARGE novel about what seems to be Laura Bush. Just started it - we'll see how far I get - it depends how much bathroom time I manage.
    Has anybody read it yet?

Yeah, that was all over the news a few months ago when it came out. I haven't read it. But I hear "George and Laura" have a sex life which weirds me out.

I have read both of the other two books and found this one when I was in the bookstore this week. I didn't buy it because I figured I could just pick it up at the library. Do me a favor and let me know if its worth the trouble of going and getting it please....

Well I'm 50 pages in - very well written, so far so good.
We got it from the library too.

Done. It's a quick read, and for the most part it's fun. The last 100 pages or so get pretty tedious, as they're in the White House and the main character spends too much time expounding on her philosophies of fame, marriage, politics, etc. If you're just not that interested in Curtis Sittenfeld's philosophical views, like me, you just want to skip pages at a time and find out what happens.
So all in all, the book was good, but the final quarter is a yawn.
