Has anyone read this series? What did you think? I really enjoyed them....though not as much as some fans (I saw a fan page of tattoos from the books...).

I really liked them. I'm a sucker for fantasy or sf mixed with romance. I think her world-building is really excellent. I liked the first and last (I think it's the last one so far, maybe next-to-last; the one where the adopted son goes on the quest) the best. The storyline where he's basically turned into someone else to go undercover and rescue the kidnapped princess was good, too, but I like the more personal, less epic,"save the world" stories the best.
