  • The Lovely Bones

I am on a reading rampage. I read more books in the last two weeks than I have in the last years.

The Lovely Bones, by Alice Sebold has been on the NY Bestseller list for a while so I checked it out from our local library. The story entails a 14 year old girl who has been murdered and shows how she watches her family and friends deal with life and trying to solve the crime following her passing. The story has many different levels and I got into it. It may expain why it is 4 am and I stayed up reading the book and haven't been able to fall asleep since.

I just read this - amazing book. There were some pretty stressful parts in it that I found myself racing through. DH actually stole the book from me so we had to negotiate # of chapters allowed before handing it over.

I thought it got a little weak toward the end, but overall a great book.
