This is the new book by Anne Heche. I had heard her on Letterman talking about how she formed an alter ego/split personality and was really fascinated by her story.
She was severely sexually abused (although any sexual abuse is severe- but you guys get my drift) by her father and it essentially details how she got to be a sane wife and mother from a truly insane situation. Parts are hilarious and parts are heartbreaking as you would expect. She covers her relationship with Ellen DeGeneres withe the same level of honesty as she does her relationships with men (including Steve Martin and Lindsey Buckingham) and really does a good job of explaining how she got she got involved with all of the people she had been involved with.
Anyway, if you like non-fiction and can stomach reading about one poor messed up family, it's a great read.
