Caleb (who turns 8 in a month) bought the first 3 books at the school book fair as part of his birthday present. (Hard to argue with a kid who wants books for his birthday!) He reads at least a year above grade level and tears through all of the new Star Wars novels.

Are the books any good? Are they dark and scary? I am planning on reading them, but I have not have the time to sit down to read lately...

Our oldest LOVED the books. I didn't read them but she never complained about them being scary.

I think this series was just made into a movie.

My oldest loves to read also. Is that their name "star wars novel series"? I am curious I think my 8 year old would love to get his hands on them.

There are several series of novels out about star wars. Some are buy Jude Watson and Caleb loves them.

The Boba Fett series come highly recommended in this household. Look on Ebay.

And we like anything SW related. Don't as me how he can tell the various clone troopers apart. They are freakin' CLONES and therefore, by definintion, IDENTICAL!
