  • Don't Let's Go to the Dogs Tonight- Alexandra Fuller

I absolutely loved this book. It is the author's autobiography of her childhood in Africa. Somehow she manages to juxtapose both hilarity and pathos in her recounting of unbelievable tales of her experiences. She lovingly embraces her parents with all their flaws and mistakes and relates this story from the psychological standpoint of acceptance. This is a book of coming of age, reflection, and basic history.

As far as sheer entertainment purposes, a reader can rip through the pages and enjoy every last word without having to work too hard.

    Very good read.
