I'm totally in love with this paranormal urban fantasy series. Kim Harrison is the author and the main character is a witch named Rachel Morgan. The first book is kind of slow, but she's gotten better with each book. The series will likely end soon. Book 10 comes out in February...and I think there are only 2 more planned.
She releases earlier books as Special Editions with bonus material at a reduced rate before new books are released. The first book is Dead Witch Walking. Book 9 was Pale Demon and was one of my favorite books so far. I know the quote by Diana Gabaldon on the cover says "Great sex, and an even better plot!" but the series isn't all about sex. There's way more story than sex in these books...and there are entire books in the series without sex.
Anyway, I'd totally recommend this series if you like vampire, witch, demon stuff.
