    The Persian Pickle Club

    I loved this book! It was sent to me by my Secret Santa (Lorri) and it was exactly the kind of book I like to read. It is set in the 30's in Kansas (called the "dirty 30's" back then because of an extreme drought") and is about a group of women who quilt together every week. It mainly deals with their relationship and how they lean on each other during difficult times. Having grown up in a small town in Kansas, I appreciated the references to small-town life and locations that I am familiar with.
