  • Book suggestions for a 16 year old boy

I need book suggestions for Alex. He likes more 'adventure' type books and is not into sci fi.

He is hard to buy for and he doesn't really even know what he likes.

Game of Thrones Sex, violence, battles. My kid went through all five from ages 16-17. He hates to read too. If not that, maybe spy books? The Cleaner was interesting and I Am Pilgram.

      Fifty shades of grey?

Actually I hated reading at his age. Dreaded it. I remember only enjoying Anne Rice's vampire books. I loved readings later in life when it was "free choice" and I was past school. I never liked reading when I was actually in school. He'll get there.

Wheel of Time! It gets a little slow in the middle, but it starts and finishes really amazing.

Piers Anthony's Xanth books are easy fantasy reads.
